Programme Overview
The Network Professional Programme is a unique blend of internationally recognised industry certifications. The programme was designed as a result of talking extensively to IT Managers who are responsible for recruiting entry level roles on a salary of between £16-25K.
After the programme you will have a well balanced skill set and an ability to fit into many junior network or technical support roles. The programme is backed up with the job (or your money back) guarantee, which is a great assurance that we know what certifications the employers are looking for.
The main features of the programme are:
|
Section 1: Getting The Technical Skills Employers Want
|
When you finish the NPP, you will have a good knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting (through CompTIA A+) and a proven ability to install, configure and maintain the two most important network operating systems: Microsoft Windows and Linux. Your knowledge will encompass several Microsoft client operating systems (9x, 2000 and XP) and your practical skills will enable you to install, configure and troubleshoot a Wide Area Network (Cisco).
This section can be studied in three ways to suit your own personal situation:

Section Two: Getting You A Job & The Work Placement
|
Most people we train have 0-2 years of experience in the IT market. If you have less than 6 months we recommend that you consider a work placement, which lasts 4-8 weeks.
The companies we work with are some of the best in the UK and both your CV, confidence and communication skills will benefit dramatically from this experience. Placements start within 1-4 weeks after the technical training has finished. The great thing about the work placements are that 75% lead to a job, so it’s a great way for you to get to know your job before you start working.
Keep in mind though that, if you have existing relevant IT experience you will be able to go straight into employment.
Either way the benefit of having Just IT Recruitment supporting you will be invaluable.
Because people learn at different rates some people will go into paid employment before they have gained all the certifications. Because your confidence, hands on and technical skills will develop through your job, you may find that it is easier to finish studying for the certifications through distance learning whilst working in the IT industry.
This can be up to a maximum of 18 months from the start of the programme, which will allow you to build up both your income and experience. Over this time our trainers will be on hand to support you to make sure that you can finish the programme within 18 months.

Section Three: Moving Up Through Your Career
|
We are passionate about you progressing through your career and we are keen to be part of your success. Just IT Recruitment will support you over your whole career, allowing you to get advice on when its time to look at new opportunities. As a normal commercial recruitment company we gain fees from employers when we place a candidate, so we are as keen for you to progress yourself as you are!
To help you progress your career and earnings as quickly as possible, within the first 18 months you should activate the on line MCSE programme. The great thing about this is that you can study without interfering with your work and take a track that suits the job and specific area you want to work in (Network Security for example). We recommend you start to study this after you have had around a year’s industry experience.
