This course is designed to give database administrators the knowledge and skills needed to maintain successful and efficient day-to-day operations of an Oracle database. The Oracle database administrator will gain practical experience in setting up, administering and troubleshooting an Oracle 11g database. Database administrators will gain an understanding of the architecture and processes of the Oracle server. They will be able to ensure the integrity and availability of a company's data within the Oracle environment.

5 Day Oracle Database 11g DBA - Part II: £1355

This course introduces delegates to the main concepts of Oracle backup and recovery. They will learn how to plan and implement a backup and recovery strategy using RMAN. Delegates will also learn to manage memory effectively, carry out some evaluation and tuning exercises, control database resources using Resource Manager, automate tasks with the Scheduler and use Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
