From working closely with our sister company, Just IT Training, we have access to a pool of high calibre candidates looking for technical support and helpdesk roles. In order to be accepted on the course, all candidates must complete a rigourous interview process that demands a demonstrable enthusiasm for a career in IT, good communication skills and an ability to tackle technical problems efficiently.
The course itself is a 13 week long intensive training course that systemically trains candidates in CompTIA A+ Hardware and Operating Systems, MCP Windows XP Professional, MCP Windows 2003 Server, Cisco CCNA & CompTIA Linux+.
In addition to the technical training, there is a compulsory Career Support Programme that allocates a dedicated member of Just IT’s team to a candidate. The focus of this programme is on:
- CV make over and covering letter techniques.
- Advice on job searching and how to improve it.
- Advice and instruction on getting the best out of agencies and employers.
- Face to face support for interviews/telephone interviews.
- Advice on how to follow up interviews.
- Job clubs every other Tuesday afternoon.
As a result, all of our candidates are:
Graduates who have demonstrated their academic ability on their CV and to us in person.

Good communicators – our screen process involves 2 face-to-face interviews and a telephone interview that assess ability to work within a customer facing environment
Trained professionals – they will have completed the Just IT Network Professional Programme, providing them with all the certifications, communication skills, confidence and knowledge to start their IT career at Merrill Lynch.
