The Just IT Advanced Apprenticeship is designed for school and college leavers who are looking to gain real hands on experience within the IT Industry. The programme is designed to allow candidates to work with an employer and gain internationally recognised certifications.
If you are not looking to go to University and want to start working within an IT Technical Support / Helpdesk role the programme is ideal for you.

The Programme
Just IT has access to employers within the IT Sector that are looking to provide on the job training for 17-18 year olds. The course will allow individuals to get a head start in their IT career without paying high University fees. The Just IT Apprenticeship Programme will enable you to gain valuable hands on experience combined with internationally recognised certifications. On completion of the programme learners can expect salaries between £18k - £20k.
Eligibility:
- 16-18 years old
- Have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (A-C) – Maths and English is essential
- Passionate about IT
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to commit to a 9 month programme

One of the major challenges facing most people looking for a job in IT is a lack of recognised certifications. The course covers a unique blend of internationally recognised industry certifications. Amongst these certifications are CompTIA A+, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 ,and also achieve a Level 3 certification in IT Professional.

A unique partnership between Just IT Training and Just IT Recruitment means that we can arrange a work placement for you (the majority of which led to employment) that gives you a hands-on chance to put your training into practice. You will be benefitting from a 10 month placement at one of Just IT Recruitment’s bluechip clients where you’ll get the chance to demonstrate your newly acquired hands-on skills, in the knowledge that if you do well, you may have got your first job in IT.
