We asked James McAdam the Corporate Training Manager what thoughts he has on how ther Corporate Training department helps candidates on the NPP programme. “Individuals who attend the Just IT Network Professional Programme are supported in many different areas as they move up their career; corporate training being one of those areas. Corporate Training is a department within Just IT Training that provides a wide spectrum of vendor specific training courses throughout the UK via our training partners, for example these include Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Check Point, VMware and Red Hat. Over the last 9 years of Just IT Training supporting individuals into their chosen IT career they (the individuals) have progressed and developed sometimes moving into Management roles responsible for teams. The corporate training team at Just IT is there to provide accredited cost effective training to both them and their teams training needs. The great news is that as they train (often gaining further industry recognised certifications like ITIL®, Prince2® or MCSE) they further develop their career moving up the business ladder.
Other examples of the corporate training team supporting our students would be where delegates who have completed the NPP programme, and are submitted for a specific role but lack certain elements of the job specification. On one occasion the client recruiting required Apple MAC experience, but without the experience the individual was unable to put forward. However with the support of the corporate training team the individual was put on the appropriate course and was therefore successful in securing the position”
