• If you are looking for advice on what you need to do to get a job in technical support we will invite you to a free online live group meeting with other Advent candidates to help people evolve their plans to move forward. • If you have gained enough technical certifications, but lack the commercial experience that employers are looking for, then we may be able to organise a work placement for you. These will be unpaid and be in London for 4-8 weeks. Some of these work placements lead to a job, so it may be a good way to get your feet on the IT ladder. You need to have good communication skills and certifications covering at least A+ and a MCP in XP Professional to get on a work placement. Our clients are an excellent mixture of commercial and public sector, and range from companies of 5 employees to organisations of over 100,000.
• If you have not gained enough certifications from the Advent programme then we may have some places on the instructor led courses that run from London each month. This programme is designed for people who are not working and looking for a fast track way into employment, often through work experience. They are ideal for graduates and if we have places as a way to support some of the Advent candidates we may be able to extend the programme to you with no upfront training costs. You will only have to pay for the manuals, exams and software, which will be between £200-950 depending on your circumstances. The rest of the fees will only be payable once you have a job in IT. • If you can afford to do the Just IT programme then we have programmes starting from £1895 to £3995 (excluding exams) and we will offer a discount of 20% off the training fees for a limited time. Courses can be studied from home in a blended learning format which will suit people who are working or who can’t get to London.
