With this in mind we’ve spoken to some students who enrolled on one of our training courses in October this year to try to give you an up-to-date perspective of what Just IT is really like.

James Houston, 24, decided to join Just IT after starting a Higher National Diploma (HND) in TV Production and Technology only to find that it wasn’t for him.

“It wasn’t really working out”, admits James, “so I decided to try to get into IT support because I’ve got a passion for customer service.”

James’ brother took a course with Just IT back in 2005: “He told me about the great atmosphere and how Just IT got him his first job, it was only a small role but it gave him a lot of confidence.”

Since then James’ brother has moved into a better position and is convinced he couldn’t have got there without the help of Just IT.

James is just as ambitious: “Eventually I’d like to end up in a personal desktop support role or some sort of management”, and thanks to Just IT he’s taking his first steps towards those exciting roles.
