Course Overview

CompTIA A+

  • CompTIA A+ Essentials – Week 1
  • CompTIA IT Technician – Week 2

The CompTIA A+ prepares learners for the CompTIA A+ certification exams Core Hardware and OS Technologies.

Topics covered in this series include microprocessors, displays, storage media and devices, printers, modems, buses, operating systems, and more.

Gaining CompTIA A+ certification assures employers and computer owners that a PC repair technician has the requisite knowledge to build, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair personal computer (PC) systems.

Home Study

In the 3 weeks of home study, we would recommend you spend around 4-5 hours a day revising for CompTIA A+ Essentials and CompTIA A+ Technician exams. Our trainers will keep in close contact with you to make sure everything is running smoothly in your time of studying.

Microsoft Windows

  • Microsoft Windows 10 – Week 6
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 – Week 7

These certifications are designed to validate your skills on the features and functionality of key technologies. You can show your depth of knowledge in one specific technology, earn multiple MCP certifications to show breadth across different products, and build towards the MCSA and MCSE.

4-12 Week Work Placement (optional)

Upon completion of Windows 10 exam.

As crucial as technical and soft skills training are, nothing can beat real hands on experience. Depending on your progress on the course and towards your first IT job, we work together to get you a 4-12 work placement in your area of interest. The Career Support team will help you develop your CV, build your confidence and give you the ability to put your training to practice.

If you’re a strong candidate, then this work placement would be expected to turn into a permanent full time position.

£18k – £28k Job Guarantee

Our Network Professional Programme comes with a £20k – £28k Job Guarantee, and our Technical Support Programme comes with a £18k+ Job or Apprenticeship Guarantee. Once you have applied for our training course with a successful application, you will receive your legally binding job guarantee, subject to achieving your certifications. If you have not landed an IT job or your Apprenticeship within 90 days, we will start repaying your course back £500 per month until the total has been paid back.

If you find a job during your repayments, they will stop immediately.

CCNA Routing and Switching

This is the last part of our Network Professional Programme. It is highly recommended this part of the course is taken with up to 6-12 month experience in IT; due to the intense nature of the course.

The role and skills required from a network engineer are evolving and are starting to become more vital. The CCNA Routing and Switching certification will prepare you with the foundation of technical knowledge whilst ensuring you stay relevant with the skill set required for the next generation of technologies. Funding

The cost of our programmes depend on which course and training options you to choose to pursue

The cost of our programmes depend on which course and training package you to choose. Remember that however you choose to pay, you will always benefit from our money back job guarantee.

We have created a range of different funding options to support you. Typically, the more that’s paid up front in the short term, the cheaper it is in the long term. However, if your budget is challenged, then subject to eligibility we have finance options that may help you progress towards starting your IT career sooner than you think. Here’s an overview of the options;

1. Education Loan

Our loan scheme means that you can secure a spot on our training courses, without any large upfront costs*. This will allow you to spread payments as you start your new IT career.

2. Pay As You Earn

If you are unable to fund your programme in full and if you’re ineligible for the loan, subject to a money-back-job-guarantee interview, you may be able to use our Pay As You Earn payment option. This involves paying a portion of the fees up-front, and the remainder in monthly instalments once you’ve landed an IT job according to your money-back-job-guarantee agreement and PAYE payment plan.

3. Purchased Up Front

All of our programmes can be purchased upfront which also saves you from further interest or admin charges. Up front costs for the programme vary depending on which programme you choose, but can range from £3884 up to £6295.

*Terms and conditions apply, to be eligible for our loan scheme you must be earning £12k pro rata p/ year, aged 18+ and have been a UK resident for 3 years. Monthly instalments quotes are subject to total deposit paid and duration of loan term.
