3rd Line Support Engineer

Supporting over 2,000 people globally across 15 countries, you will play a key role providing effective IT assistance across all aspects of this exciting entertainment network. You’ll be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Microsoft Cloud, Server and Desktop operating systems and general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software as well as gaining exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.

Key duties

  • Responsible for managing backups online and some tape rotation
  • Undertaking small – medium – large sized IT projects
  • Managing Tickets and Business as Usual tasks being a core primary role.
  • Supporting and maintaining Servers/Desktops/Endpoints – Windows, OSX, IOS
  • Ensuring security upgrades are applied to Endpoints/Servers and kept up to date
  • Fault finding to laptops, servers & Azure cloud
  • Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops
  • Imaging endpoints with Intune and building new gold images for endpoints mainly
  • Setting up, configuring, installing and patching new endpoints and core servers
  • Ensuring licensing for all software purchased is recorded and maintained
  • Email/File server maintenance including archiving accounts/mailboxes etc
  • Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
  • Providing support for PCs & MACs

Skills required

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2 /2016, Windows 10, OSX
  • 365 suite key requirement
  • Security products, e.g. Mimecast / MacAfee / Intune
  • Cloud 365 / Azure, OneDrive, Identity Management
  • Networking Experience (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) including fault finding, Meraki, Azure
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory (AD)
  • Manage and maintain various servers and resources.
  • HP Notebooks, Servers, Azure
  • Citrix & NetScaler management and administration
  • Strong Imaging WDS/INTUNE/365
