They are looking for a customer service focused IT Helpdesk Technician Apprentice to provide Technical Support to customers in a friendly and confident manner. You should be enthusiastic, hardworking, with an eagerness to learn all areas of IT and a ‘can do’ attitude.

KEY DUTIES –

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers in need of Technical Support over the phone or via email whilst delivering a high degree of customer service throughout
  • Perform troubleshooting using remote connection tools keeping the customer updated with your progress at all times
  • Take ownership and be proactive with customer issues escalating any to the IT Manager where necessary
  • Record all problems and their resolution in the company’s purpose built CRM system
  • Occasionally attend customer sites with another member of staff to help deliver projects
  • Preserve and develop your knowledge of Helpdesk procedures and services
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions for improvement to the appropriate internal member of the staff

ABOUT YOU –

To be an IT 1st Line Helpdesk Technician Apprentice you will need to be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (A* – C) including Maths and English.

THE REWARDS

This 14-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £10,000 / £12,000 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 IT qualifications
