Content & Product Operations Apprentice

Our client is an independent service provider for ultra-broadband internet access. Its TV division is a young, fast growing service, with the ambition to propose UK and Ireland viewers with an alternative to traditional, pricey Pay TV.

The individual for this function will be their Product Ops champion within the company. The apprentice will have a great balance of skills, insight-led, design-minded, analytical and methodical to maximise engagement on a living and breathing TV service, while also be articulate and passionate about TV content, championing the service within the company and with their content providers.

The apprentice role sits in the Delivery team and reports to the Product & Delivery Director. It involves a fair amount of internal communication as it has many ramifications towards the Marketing team and the Operations team.

Key Duties

  • Maintaining a good relationship with their Content Partners (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, 5, UKTV, Amazon Prime Video, Rakuten TV, Hopster, hayu, Premier Sports, TV Player and many others).
  • Maintaining a content calendar by selecting/curating the latest, freshest and most relevant content.
  • Delivering weekly product content updates within their Product ecosystem, promoting the content selection after preparing the content in various formats (TV Box sections and hubs, mobile apps sections, carousel tiles, website, notifications).
  • Occasionally onboarding new content partners , testing apps/channels/metadata and accompanying content partners until release of the content to the service
  • Understanding the content usage and customer engagement from discovery, trial and inlife: what content they see, what features they engage with, what communication they receive
  • Suggest & select content for digital campaigns , and learning/reporting from measurement of online/social marketing campaigns

About you

To be a Content & Product Operations Apprentice you will need to be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C) including Maths and English.

This 14 month Apprenticeship has a salary of £15,000 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 IT qualifications such as;
