Data Analyst Marketing Communications Apprentice

An renowned car manufacturer has need for an Data Analyst Marketing Communications Apprentice to help assist their Sales and Marketing Headquarters. Training will be provided with all duties.

Duties

Marcomms Performance Analytics

Support the Marketing Strategy and Planning Manager in producing scheduled dashboards covering key marketing performance KPIs. Data will be securely collected from multiple sources and compiled into management reports for analysis.

Reports must align with company procedures and industry best practices, incorporating graphs and infographics. Responsibilities include:

  • Validating results through cross-checking and comparisons to ensure data accuracy.
  • Presenting outcomes in line management meetings and distributing insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Producing weekly management committee summaries based on performance reports.

Dealer Marketing Analysis

Work with the Dealer Retail Manager to analyse structured and unstructured data, generating detailed reports on zone and dealer performance. Use statistical methods to assess volume, conversion metrics, target performance, and trends, supporting collaboration between Dealer Marketing, Field teams, and Dealers.

Process Digitisation

Assist the Marketing Communications team in digitising core business processes, including:

  • Car Booking Process Automation – Identify efficiencies for automation.
  • Content Library Management – Organise and improve accessibility.
  • SharePoint Administration – Manage structure, taxonomy, permissions, and storage.
  • Finance Automation – Streamline reconciliation processes into actionable reports.

Content & Social Media Support

  • Adapt core assets using AI tools to enhance content reach.
  • Act as a liaison for customer queries received via social media, working with the appointed agency to coordinate responses.
  • Maintain and update the FAQ document based on recurring queries.

Marcomms Support

  • Data Reporting – Ensure secure data handling while producing scheduled reports to support marketing activities, such as CRM agency file extracts and first-party data for social media campaigns.
  • Project & Administrative Support – Assist with project management, scheduling meetings, tracking budgets, and documenting key actions.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis – Support the delivery of business objectives by providing insights into media performance, website analytics, and lead management.

About you

To be an Data Analyst Marketing Communications Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.

This 20-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £20,000 per year.

Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 4 qualifications within data.
