A major automobile manufacturer has need for an IT Apprentice to help support their Sales and Marketing Headquarters in Rickmansworth. The chosen apprentice will job them in defining how they shape the future of innovation.
Duties
- Build relationships across the user base and with IS/IT colleagues
- Assist SSDM with operational management of IT Infrastructure
- Work with the company’s departments to drive adoption of M365 and help them migrate their data to One Drive and SharePoint as appropriate
- Work with 3rd parties and colleagues across IS/IT to deliver complex projects including migration of on-premise systems to AWS and Private Cloud infrastructure
- Assist other IS Capability Fulfilment teams with the delivery of projects specific to the company
- Liaise with 3rd party providers for V/C, telecoms and infrastructure support
- Create documentation to assist users with their adoption of IS/IT systems and processes and work with the Knowledge team to disseminate the information to end users
- Become a subject matter expert for SharePoint and One Drive
- Monitor incident and request queues and look for trends and problems.
- Assist end users with escalations to Service Desk Governance team or appropriate IS Capability Fulfilment team
- Event support
- Assist end users with M365 queries and recommend solutions from available tools
- Other duties as requested by the Line Manager
About you
To be an IT Network Technician Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.
This 18-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £18,000 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.
Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 IT qualifications.
