Our Client, is a local authority trading company created in February 2012. They are owned by Barnet Council.

They are looking for someone to provide a responsive service to staff who raise requests for IT support including the logging of some calls and escalation to appropriate parties for resolution.

KEY DUTIES

  • To raise and/or escalate support calls to other IT Services staff for resolution as appropriate or to third party suppliers such as the London Borough of Barnet Information Systems service desk and/or the Systems Support team as required.
  • To provide desk side support services to all Barnet Group staff that cannot be done through third parties.
  • To setup new work stations or move existing workstations where required.
  • To manage the IT Services consumables and stock of spare equipment including printers.
  • To administer the asset management of Barnet Group IT equipment.
  • To support the delivery of IT related projects and tasks as required.
  • To support staff through one to one or group training sessions on the basics of IT within the Barnet Group.
  • To help coach staff with day to day IT problems e.g. Encryption, Outlook, printing

ABOUT YOU –

To be an IT Services Apprentice you will need to be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C) including Maths and English.

THE REWARDS

This 14 month Apprenticeship has a salary of £10,000 / £13,000 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 IT qualifications.
