IT Support Apprentice

The apprentice’s role is to provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and trouble-shoot routine and non-routine IT related problems. Duties include installation of software and hardware and supporting business critical systems, operating system and applications.


  • Answering the telephone, responding to emails and updating requests
  • Provide first line analysis of all IT issues and ensure that SLAs are met
  • Keep customers informed of the status and progress of tasks and update tickets
  • Complete other service-related tasks as required by your manager
  • Attend all learning events and complete all apprenticeship assignments to a good standard, and on-time

About you

To be an IT Support Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.

This 18-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £15,000 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 IT qualifications.
