They are looking for a committed and professional individual to be responsible for the logging, resolution and management of all 1st line and 2nd line technical support tickets. This also includes proactive maintenance of hardware and software across sites

KEY DUTIES –

  • Responsible for the handling of support tickets received verbally, via telephone, e-mail or Service Desk application
  • Supporting users in the use of installed hardware and software
  • Performing Initial triage on Technical queries, logging/updating Incidents, attempting resolution or seeking advice/support to affect a resolution
  • Accountable for the timely and accurate updating of Service Desk tickets
  • Manage the escalation of tickets and Incidents to 3rd line and vendors
  • Ensure that Service Requests related to the Installation and updates of Overlays, Digital Signage, Package content and prices are actioned within agreed timeframes and fully tested
  • Post Incident diagnostics and reporting
  • Work closely with the site teams to pro-actively resolve Issues
  • Liaise with line manager and site team to provide an excellent service
  • Act In a professional manner at all times with regards to time management, attendance and personal appearance
  • Comply with all company and site H&S requirements
  • Adhere to all relevant company operational policies and procedures

ABOUT YOU –

To be an IT Support Technician Apprentice you will need to be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C) including Maths and English.

This company are looking for someone with these skills and personal qualities.

  • Be able to communicate over phone, email, verbally and via service desk application
  • High proficiency in English; both spoken and written

  • Must be an IT hobbyist with basic IT knowledge.
  • Create an environment of teamwork to ensure that all products are delivered on time and company goals are met
  • Valid driving licence since you be required to drive to other client sites

THE REWARDS

This 14-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £18,000 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.
