Data analysis is one of the most in-demand skills in the UK, with a 78% increase in demand between 2017 and 2018, according to Experis. Our Data Analyst apprenticeship allow you to bypass this hyper-competitive market and develop your own talent.
Data Analysts collect, organise and study data in order to provide insight to business functions and performance, ultimately using to this to enact improvements. The precise nature of the project will vary depending on the individual organisation, but the overarching solution is increasing efficiency and streamlining processes.
Our apprenticeship programme
Our intensive programme builds the foundations to become a big data professional. Over 30 days of training provides learners with critical skills in programming in R and SQL, data visualisation with Tableau and Power BI, data modelling and big data, culminating in two knowledge module exams. Apprentices apply their learning throughout the programme, resulting in immediate value for your organisation.
After consultation with employers and learners that we work closely with, we reformed our Data Analyst programme to become more training-driven, including the addition of the data visualisation modules. This is a key aspect of the course, as these visualisation platforms make data accessible and understandable to experts and non-experts alike.
The course duration is 20 months, consisting of in-person workshops, monthly coaching sessions and online learning through our Virtual Learning Environment and other platforms.
If you provide 8 or more Data Analysts at any one time, we will run the training on your site if this is preferable. For smaller groups or single learners, training will take place online using our remote learning delivery platform, or at our fully-equipped centre in London.
