How to Start an Apprenticeship
Eligibility
To be eligible for an apprenticeship, you must live in England and be at least 16 years old, but there is no upper age limit.
You can apply before you have received your GCSE or A Level results, and we will contact you again when you’ve received them to discuss the next steps.
If you have previously completed a degree, you can still do an apprenticeship with us, but your apprenticeship will need to be in a different area of specialty. If you’re in doubt, apply to us with your CV and we will be able to advise you if you’re eligible.
Eligibility
To get started, the best thing you can do is look through our pathways, or browse our current apprenticeship roles to find out what interests you.
When you’re ready you can submit your details and your CV if you have one. From there our team will review your application, and get in touch.
What Support Will I Get as an Apprentice?
All apprentices are assigned a mentor within their company to help them reach their goals across the programme. This can either be the apprentice’s manager, or another member of the team as appropriate.
In addition, apprentices will receive regular visits from their designated Business Coach from Just IT, who will also serve as the first point of contact for any questions that might arise. If the apprentice has any issues or concerns, they can contact our Learning Support team who will be able to assist them further. This can include support on different learning milestones, how to apply knowledge practically in the workplace, or how best to prepare for End-Point Assessment.
