What are Skills Bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps are designed to help you develop the digital skills that are in demand with top employers. Just IT are delivering Skills Bootcamps in IT, Software Development and Data as part of a government initiative to tackle skills gaps across the country.
Created in part as a response to the pandemic, Skills Bootcamps are part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs. Our free IT Technician Skills Bootcamp will give you all the technical skills needed to start your first IT role.
As well as essential technical skills to enter the industry, we’ll also help you to hone your soft skills, including communication, collaborative working, problem-solving and working to deadlines in an agile environment.
Previous experience isn’t necessary, but you must have an active interest in working in IT Support and Networking.
Technical Training
The programme will build technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to start your career. This will include industry recognised certifications that top employers are looking for;
- CompTIA A+.
- Microsoft 365.
Learners can attend 5 sessions a week of facilitated workshop training. Our business coaches will support with weekly online sessions, and our Career Support team will help you to develop your employability skills.
Career Support
Our Skills Bootcamps focus on making candidates as employable as possible, by giving them the skills, qualifications, and career and recruitment support needed to get into an IT role. Our Career Support team have worked with candidates from all different backgrounds, to hone their skills and make sure they are fully equipped for their chosen career.

Eligibility
Skills Bootcamps are available to all adults, regardless of prior attainment aged 19+. Applicants must;
- Be living in London and either; employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months.
- Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop.
- Have the right to live and work in the UK.
