Flexible tech talent solutions

Internships and work placements offer employers who have skills gaps but cannot commit to a permanent hire a flexible, short-term way to utilise talented entry-level IT and Developer candidates trained by Just IT.

We offer employers a range of IT people solutions, from senior hires, through to apprenticeships, and our internship and work placements are part of this suite of solutions. They are designed to meet the needs of employers in need of additional IT or developer support, but who cannot currently commit to permanent hires.

As an IT training provider, we see the hard work and commitment our learners put into developing their skills and gaining qualifications, and we feel these newly qualified Junior Developers and IT Support Technicians are perfect for employers looking for low-risk short term skills solutions.

How the scheme works

We can offer IT Support and Junior Developer interns or work placements – talented and committed people who invested their own money to develop their skills, get qualified and hit the ground running in an entry-level role.

For an internship, there is no cost to you as an employer, other than the intern’s travel and lunch, and we ask you to take them on for 8-12 weeks. Alternatively, you can opt for a paid Work Placement where you can pay an agreed daily rate – either directly or via our payroll service.

The IT Support graduates have passed their CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Windows 10 certifications within a hands-on environment.

All candidates have been through our inhouse employability and soft skills development programme. This crucially gives our learners the right balance of technical skills and soft skills that are so sought after by employers.

Your commitment 

There is no long-term commitment required, however, if you like the candidate(s) and have a vacancy on completion of their internship or work placement, then there is the option to take the candidate on at a reduced recruitment fee.

If after the 8-12 weeks you do not wish to take up this option, then the intern leaves, and we thank you for supporting their career development with valuable experience.
