Apprentices, employers and industry partners came together for an afternoon of celebration at the 2019 Just IT Apprenticeship Awards presented by Just IT CEO, Simon Perriton.
Held at The British Computing Society during National Apprenticeship Week, Just IT’s annual awards event recognises the top achievements of IT & digital Apprentices and the forward-thinking employers which have supported them to success.
Tony Pitchford, BCS Key Account Manager for Apprenticeships spoke about the work BCS do to assure that apprenticeships are driving quality, through End-Point Assessments.
Joshua Uwadiae, ex-apprentice and owner of WeGym talked on his passion for apprenticeships as an alternate path into the world of work.
Graham Hunter, Vice President of Skills Certification for CompTIA, spoke on the trends that will affect IT jobs in 2019, including 5G and machine learning.
Karina Bird, from our company charity Ambitious About Autism, highlighted the great work that the charity does, including their resources for parents and family members of people with autism, and the specialist schools that cater to their needs.
The event was a great success, but it was the award winners and nominees that everyone came out to celebrate.
