What is the Crown Commercial Service?
The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is the procurement body for the public service and, although many people may never have heard of it, the agency directs an estimated £12bn in taxpayer spending every year.
The CCS is the largest single procurer in the country, responsible for procurement across the police to the NHS, helping to source for temporary staff, marketing campaigns, IT, utilities, fleets of vehicles, accredited legal advice and much more.

Accessing our Apprenticeships Through CCS
Government agencies can now access Just IT apprenticeships through our Skills Team account on the CCS framework. As part of the first group of training providers to be appointed to the marketplace framework, central government and other public sector agencies can now more easily access our specialist IT, software, data and management apprenticeships.
This is exciting news for Just IT as we look to further support public sector organisations with implementing and embedding apprenticeship programmes — like the recent work done with Great Ormond Street Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital.
The objective of the CCS marketplace is to help public bodies contact the best suppliers for their training needs and then engage with them via an easy to use online portal.
