Digital Marketing Apprentice

Position Overview    

The Digital Marketing Apprentice will report to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for assisting the wider team with the day-to-day promotion of Just IT’s Apprenticeships, Recruitment, Skills Bootcamps and Commercial Training divisions. This is alongside assisting in the building of the Just IT brand within the digital and tech sector.

The role will work closely with the Just IT Marketing and Sales teams to provide reliable and timely marketing support on a day-to-day basis, assisting to implement wider campaigns to meet clear targets on starts through our various divisions.

This role will have the full support of the Group Commercial Officer and the Just IT Marketing team, as well as our partner agencies who have expertise in PPC, search engine optimisation, and website design/build.

Please note we ask you that you join a 4 week training programme delivered by Just IT. This will be delivered remotely and will provide you the necessary experience and skills required to start the role



  • Research and discussion with the Senior Marketing Digital Channels Executive – finding relevant content to share on our social media platforms
  • Assisting in the creation of social media collateral
  • Supporting with content creation – inhouse or curating external content
  • Supporting with creating new campaigns and testing new ideas
  • Research new topics of discussion and relevant news articles to reshare with our followers
  • Learning how to use our LinkedIn campaign manager and planning paid ads
  • Engaging with other businesses for cross promotion purposes
  • Working with the marketing team to promote recruitment and internal vacancies
  • Using Hootsuite to schedule posts for various platforms, ensuring that timings are optimised for best engagement
  • Working with the Senior Marketing Digital Channels Executive to analyse social campaign metrics and reporting them onto our marketing dashboard
  • As a team, reporting back to stakeholders on campaign results and planning next steps
  • Monitoring each social media channels engagement to understand what our strongest channel is
  • Conducting market research

Marketing admin

  • Capturing and recording data / progress onto our marketing dashboard
  • Supporting with the maintenance of our online review platforms
  • Ad-hoc marketing updates as requested by the Head of Marketing

Candidate Requirements

  • A deep interest of marketing and wanting a career in the industry
  • Able to work remotely
  • Interest in technology is ideal but not essential


  • Have lived in England for at least 3 years
  • Can commit to 4 weeks of learning
  • Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop
